Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
1/3 cup low-sodium tamari, soy sauce or coconut aminos
3 tablespoons 100% maple syrup
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or jar and use to marinate tofu or tempeh. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
This versatile Teriyaki Sauce can be used as a marinade for Tofu Kabobs, soy curls, or tempeh. A dipping sauce for Potsickers or Spring Rolls. Use on salad greens, in stir-fry, or tossed in an Asian Buddha Bowl.
