Creamy Dairy-Free Cheese Spread

Who doesn’t love a good cheese spread? This dairy-free spread is sure to be a big hit at your next gathering or charcuterie board creation. The secret ingredient that makes it oh so creamy? Almond flour. Yup, you read that right, almond flour. Best of all it’s super easy to make so let’s get spreading!

Ingredients

1/2 cup water

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

1 1/2 cups almond flour

2-4 garlic cloves, go with 4 if you like a pungent garlic flavor

1 tablespoon Homemade Ranch Seasoning, add additional for more herb flavor

Salt to taste (optional)

Fresh chives to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add water, apple cider vinegar, garlic, and almond flour to a high speed blender or food processor and blend until the texture is smooth and creamy.

  2. Transfer the mixture to a small mixing bowl and add the Ranch Seasoning and optional salt, stir well until herbs are mixed throughout. Taste and season with additional seasoning if you like more herb flavor.

  3. Spoon into serving bowl, cover and refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight to allow the herb flavor to build depth and become a firmer spread.

  4. Serve with crackers, veggies, pita crisps, spread as the first layer on pizza, or as a topping on potatoes.
