Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

1/3 cup low-sodium tamari, soy sauce or coconut aminos

3 tablespoons 100% maple syrup

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger

2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or jar and use to marinate tofu or tempeh. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

  2. This versatile Teriyaki Sauce can be used as a marinade for Tofu Kabobs, soy curls, or tempeh. A dipping sauce for Potsickers or Spring Rolls. Use on salad greens, in stir-fry, or tossed in an Asian Buddha Bowl.
