Smoky Hummus
Ingredients
1 - 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown mustard
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke, this is your secret weapon, do not omit
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Serve with fresh vegetables as a dip or as a sandwich spread.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. That is if you haven’t eaten it all in one sitting.
